Diplostock privacy policy

Diplostock is concerned about the protection of the personal data of its customers and therefore applies practices that are also intended to respect privacy in general, and more particularly the general regulation on data protection (RGPD - or GDPR in English) that will apply from May 25, 2018. This document outlines our policy in this area. We will of course satisfy any request for additional information.

2. Who is our data protection policy aimed at?
This policy applies to all VIP dealers and individuals who place vehicles on our site for the target audience.

3. What categories of data are we dealing with?
We can process the following types of data, depending on our relationship with you:

  • Surname, first name, language, date of birth,
  • Postal address, phone, landline and / or mobile, email address
  • Your subscription to our newsletter or other communications

4. For what purpose do we use your personal data and what is the legal basis of these treatments?
With your authorization (legal basis: article 6a of the privacy regulations):

  • Subscribe to newsletters
  • Register on our site to sell your cars

  • When you ask us questions via our website

When we have a legitimate interest, as part of our communication activities. In this case, we always make sure to respect a balance with the respect of your private life (legal base: article 6f of the regulation private life):

5. Processing your personal data
Your data is hosted in the IT solution of our OVH provider based in Roubaix, France and the internal management of your data is performed exclusively by members of the diplostock committee appointed for this purpose. Your data are not transmitted outside the European Union

6. Transmission of your data to third parties
We do not transmit your data to third parties but it is you who transmit them when you search for a car. diplostock only puts in touch a seller and a buyer.

7. Policy for keeping your data
Your data is kept as long as you are attached to diplostock for up to 10 years. Your data will not be kept if you request it, in particular by exercising your right to be forgotten.

8. Protecting your data
Your data is treated confidentially. We take all the technical and organizational measures necessary to ensure the security of these. The hosting of your data is provided by a professional company, in a professional and secure environment.

People with access to your data and the rights to make changes to it are limited to a few diplostock members whose role in the club justifies such access.

9. What are your rights? How can you exercise them?

In accordance with the privacy regulations, you have the right to access and correct your data.

2. Your right of opposition
At any time and without justification, you have the right to object to the processing of your data for communication purposes: newsletter, mailings, invitation to events.

In the event of a dispute regarding the processing of your data, you may request the limitation of the processing of your data until the dispute is resolved.

3. Your right to forgetting, limiting the processing and portability of data
You also have the right to request that your data be completely removed from our database in the cases listed by law.

Google Analytics and coockies add-in

This site uses Google Analytics web analytics services from Google In. ("Google"). reCAPTCHA

We use the reCAPTCHA service of Google Inc. (Google) to protect the form entries on your site. This service is used to differentiate entries made by a human being from automated abuse. This involves sending the IP address and possibly other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service. For this purpose, your data will be communicated to Google and used by their services. However, your IP address will be shortened in advance by Google in the Member States of the European Union - or in other states that are part of the agreement on the European Economic Area - and will thus be anonymous. In exceptional cases, your full IP address will be transmitted to a Google server in the United States and shortened thereafter. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of this service. The IP address provided by reCAPTCHA by your browser will not be merged with other Google data. This collection of data is subject to the Google Privacy Policy.
